Final Presentation and Project 2

Final Presentations:

For groups of a single student, I have put a star next to the group number. The presentation should last for 10-14 mins. For groups of 2 students, the final presentation should take 18-22 mins. For those students from MATH4999 with 3 students in each group (denoted by #), the final presentation should take 25-30 mins.

Venue: Room 3209A (MATH UG Lab)

Time: Monday 130pm-250pm, Tuesday 1200noon-1250pm, Friday 9am-1020am

Each group will evaluate each others and these peer evaluations will contribute to a part of your final grade. So at least one member from each group should be in any presentation. After the last presentation on Nov 28, each group will submit one of this form to me [click here]

Please upload your ppt file to the computer before all presentations that day to avoid time delay. Enjoy the presentation and see you next Monday!

Final Report:

Due: Dec 3 (Sunday) 1159pm

Submission: a zip file of all tex, figures and a pdf of the report to Canvas

VERY IMPORTANT:

1. For groups with 1 student, the page limit is at most 6 pages. 2 students = 8 pages. 3 students = 10 pages.
2. Do not change the template format like the font size, the margin, the line spacing, and etc
3. 2 point will be deducted from the total score for the project (total 30 for Project 2) FOR EACH 1 hour of late submission. Therefore you might have 15 extra hours to submit the project (before it worths 0% anyway).
4. I will compile your submission on Dec 4. It should be error free. If there is any error in the file and I cannot correct, I will email you by Dec 6 (Wed) and ask for a correction. 5 points (out of at most 30) will be deduced from your Project 2 at this point, i.e. you will get at most 25 points (out of 30). If the file is not fixed by Dec 8 (Friday) 1159pm, 5 points will be deduced for each 2 hour of late correction, i.e. you (and your group) will automatically get 0 point for Project 2 after Dec 9 10am.
